Project description<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNew high-efficiency production process, based on innovative processes\u201d <\/strong>(Industry 4.0) aims at the creation of smart appliances capable of communicating bidirectionally, both towards the user and towards the factory. This project sees Candy as user.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Info Solution developed a device that uses solid state sensors with MEMS technology to recognize the type of fabric before the insertion in the cylinder of the washing machine. The sensor sends usage data both to factory and to an app that suggests to the client the most suitable program for the washing program, based on the type of fabric inserted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The device transmits the detected data to an App which in turn will display the type of fabric and the suggestions for its washing. The device is suitable to be produced in large numbers and at a sustainable price, it will be equipped with a processing stage based on a low-power processor that will be used for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • characterization algorithms,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • communication management,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • device management,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • battery recharge.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    It will also be equipped with wireless communication, with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth chips, low-cost and low-power, and a User Interface with LEDs and buttons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Development of an additional device to illuminate the interior of the dishwasher and capture video images in order to recognize the content and filling. The device is suitable to be produced in large numbers.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n
